See a pumpkin chunked into the air up to 3/4 of a mile with our crowd pleasing Pumpkin Chunker!
Stop by one of our chunking sessions to see what all the commontion is about!
Saturdays & Sundays Only
Saturday: 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 2 pm & 3 pm.Sunday: Noon, 1pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm.
Pig Races
Join us for some oink-tastic fun as we watch as our favorite racing pigs run for the win! Races will be on Saturdays & Sundays (beginning the second weekend in September through October), included with admission.
Saturday: 11am, 1 pm and 3 pm.
Sunday: Noon, 2 pm and 4 pm.
Racers include Shaqueal O'Squeal, Christina Hogularia, Boss Hog, Hambone, Cris P. Bacon and Pork Chop!
Our 2024 Corn Maze
For our 2024 corn maze, we're celebrating local farmers and the hard work they put into the food we eat every day!
Ready for some corn-fusing fun exploring our new corn maze theme? Test your navigational skills as you search for this a-maize-ing maze's exit! Can you find your way out without help?
2024 Appleberry Orchard Hay Bale Contest
Entry Deadline – Tuesday, September 3, 2024 by 5 pm
Gather your team and supplies to decorate your hay bale for a chance to win prize money.
1st Place - $300.00
2nd Place - $150.00
Decorate Day – Sunday, September 8, 2024, 9 am – 7 pm
Hay Bale Contest Rules:
- It is free to enter and decorate a hay bale for the contest.
- Appleberry Orchard will provide the hay bale; you bring your items to decorate the hay bale.
- Reserve your hay bale by the entry deadline, Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024 by 5pm.
- Hay bales will be decorated on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024. Come anytime 9 am – 7 pm to pick out your hay bale and decorate. First come, first serve.
- Entries will be voted on Saturday, Sept. 14th through Saturday, Oct. 12th by the public.
- Winners will be announced on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024 at 2 pm.
- All bales & decorations need to stay in play through Oct. 27, 2024.
- Decorations need to be picked up Monday, Oct. 28th, 9 am - 7 pm. Appleberry Orchard will take care of hay bales. Any decorations not picked up on Mon., Oct. 28th by 7 pm will be discarded.
- Entries will be assigned a number and that number will be used to vote. Voting boxes will be located in the store and at Appleberry Acres admission.
- Entries can be individuals, businesses, clubs, groups, etc.
- Space for each hay bale entry is not to exceed 3 ft. around hay bale.
- Hay bales will by lying on their side.
- Decorations should be good, clean, wholesome fun. NO vulgar, suggestive, political or sexual decorations allowed.
- No mechanical, electrical or electronic devices can be used.
- Decorations should be wind and weather proof.
